Hearts & Hammers is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping folks stay in their homes when they are not able to make necessary repairs themselves. Our annual all-volunteer workday is the first Saturday of May.
We need volunteers with a wide range of skills, including:
Painters ~ Plumbers ~ Electricians ~ Carpenters Cooks & Kitchen Helpers ~ Yard Workers & Gardeners
Willing Laborers ~ Pick-up Trucks & Drivers
All are welcome from 12 - 112!
Unfortunately, we can’t allow anyone under 12 to volunteer. Medical release forms will be provided for 12-17 year-olds. Without the release, minors will not be able to work. A release form will be mailed for you to fill out. Please arrange your own childcare for children under 12.
12-15 year olds with a medical release may work with their parents only. 16-17 year olds need the medical release and written parental permission.
